SW Design is distinguished by a strong commitment to design excellence and sustainability. Our success is from a thorough understanding of each unique site and environmental conditions and the creative responsiveness to address those factors. As a small company we have direct interaction with the clients and subconsultants providing seamless coordination and quality while fulfilling the design intent of the client and cost constraints.
About Our Owner
Stephanie Wondolleck has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of Landscape Architectural project types, scales, and environmental regions for private and public clients. After working for 17 years at Glanville Associates and other prominent firms in the San Francisco Bay Area, she established SW Design in 2010.
Stephanie is a Bay Area native and with her family is a longtime resident of San Rafael, California. Part of her hobby resume includes five time U.S. Women's Sailing Champion, awarded the U.S. Sailing Sportsmanship Trophy, and shortlisted for the U.S. Yachtswoman of the Year. Educated at University of California at Berkeley, graduating with the Merit Award of Excellence in 1987.
Stephanie is a licensed and insured Landscape Architect in the states of California, RLA 3680, and Nevada, RLA 843. She is also a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and its Northern California Chapter.
